Our family's yurt cabins in Centennial, Wyoming are sure to be unique and probably different than anything you've ever experienced. Our yurt cabins are so much more than traditional canvas yurt tents. After a long day of hiking Medicine Bow Peak, retreat back to your private 6 person hot tub for some well earned rest and rejuvenation. Whether you are making French press coffee in the breakfast nook, relaxing in any of our memory foam mattress beds or even enjoying a hot shower in any of the full bathrooms, your stay at Snowy Range Yurt Cabins will be the perfect ending to a long day of adventure in the mountains.
Why stay somewhere near the mountains when you can stay... IN the mountains! Our family's yurt cabins are located at the base of the Snowy Range. Staying in a yurt cabin bordering Medicine Bow National Forest means that you can take in mountain sunsets, enjoy Wyoming wildflowers and even spot local wildlife. Being IN the actual mountains makes your yurt adventure that much better! Between sitting at the picnic table on your private patio (enjoying dinner from the local steakhouse) or relaxing in our 6 person hot tub with friends and family, soaking up the mountain view is an incredible experience!

Snowy Range Yurt Cabins are located at the base of the Snowy Range mountains in beautiful Medicine Bow National Forest. Wyoming winters in this area are gorgeous and full of adventure. Unexpected snow storms and snowfall will definitely add to that adventure and can sometimes be unpredictable.
Because of this, during winter stays we strongly recommend driving a HIGH CLEARANCE 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE during your visit to the Snowy Range. The main road leading to the yurt cabins (Rainbow Valley Lodge Rd.) is plowed regularly. However, in the event of an unexpected winter storm or during times of intense snowfall and drifting, guests may have to park at the top of the hill (on Rainbow Valley Lodge Rd.) and walk down to the yurt cabins themselves. It's rare when this happens and would not be a long walk at all (a few hundred feet), but we want all of our guests to be prepared. So, bundle up and plan your next winter adventure in Medicine Bow National Forest!
